I am so excited to be sharing this with you and now the day has finally arrived. It has taken me many years to finally pluck up the courage to put myself out there, but it is now time to share all my professional knowledge with you. My site will be packed full of Advice, Skin Care Tips and the latest Beauty, Tips and Trends.
Why I started my blog
When clinics and salons had to shut due to Covid 19, we all thought it would be a quick temporary measure and soon things would go back to normal. The beauty industry has always been resilient in the past, why would this be any different?
Unfortunately, it has been very different! The effects on my Salon and others within my industry are widespread and it will have a long-term impact on the way businesses are run and how consumers can access services moving forward.
The future of the beauty industry as we have known it, will no longer exist! And to survive it must change.
Prior to lock down more and more consumer purchases have moved online, brands across all industries have looked for ways to be more relevant through digital channels and to meet the needs of their increasingly mobile consumers.
This rapidly evolving modern beauty consumers is currently overwhelmed by product choices and product claims. Over the last five years, beauty brands have invested heavily in mobile, social media, augmented reality, and other technologies but consumers still lack access to the advice and expertise they need to buy online easily and with confidence. In these current times this demand will only get greater.
As this new research shows, there is a huge need for virtual beauty advisers to provide assisted service online where real human advisers are not as easily accessible. To provide the ease of use, convenience, and personalised experiences that customers so clearly need and want.
